Jimmy

The following poem is about my middle child Jimmy and was written when he was only 3 years old (1992). Jimmy is 22 now. Above pictures show Jimmy at 3 years old with his brother Jarred, Jimmy is on right, and alone mugging in front of the mirror with a friends glasses.

Jimmy

His eyes are brown…

His hair is  brownish blond…

I am very fond of my Jimmy…

Mommys brave little boy…

Whose very coy and a joy to be with…

Has a fat little belly he likes to pat…

Pretty little teeth that like to bite…

Fingers always busy…

Hands that like to punch…

Does not like to eat his lunch…

Does not mind much…

But that’s ok…

He loves to give kisses and hugs…

And lay down upon the rug…

He’s curious about bugs…

And has a silly way…

Likes to play day or night…

It’s a true sight…

I know it’s right…

He likes to rastle half the night…

Love his Mommy…

Sissy and baby too…

Jimmy, he’s my special little guy…
